Miles Shepard

Miles Shepard is an artist from Portland, Oregon, who currently lives in Eugene, OR. His work considers the constructions of the passage of time, phenomenology, and working class mythologies. Miles' process is driven by the use of of cheap or broken cameras and damaged or consumer-grade film. They are interested in narrative imagery, psychogeography, and the practice of giving chance a chance. Miles studied art and holds a BA in Comparative Literature from the University of Oregon with a focus on Art and classical Arabic.
