COVID19 DARKROOM ACCESS

In order to keep our members and our community safe, we're limiting darkroom access to one person at a time until further notice. Members are now asked to sign up for their darkroom access hours via an app called MeetingBird in order to ensure that only one person enters the space at a time.

In addition to limiting the number of members in the darkroom at one time, we are also asking all of our members to observe the following safety and cleaning protocols:

1. If you are sick, STAY HOME

2. You must wear a mask while in the darkroom

3. Leave your personal items at home or in your car or locker

4. Use the restroom before coming to the darkroom

5. Sanitize hands before touching the darkroom keypad and entering, and before leaving the darkroom.

6. Spray down trays and tongs with alcohol solution upon entering and exiting the darkroom

7. Wipe down all surfaces (including enlarger knobs, negative carriers, and light switches) with alcohol solution upon entering and exiting the darkroom.

The Eugene Darkroom Group is a 501c3 non-profit in Eugene, Oregon. Our mission is to preserve and promote film photography and provide accessible education about the medium. We seek to revitalize a beautiful yet struggling medium by investing in the photographic talent of the people in the Eugene area. Our goal is to provide a thoroughly equipped darkroom for film photographers and accessible education to the community. Our community darkroom facility and education program are located at Maude Kerns Art Center in Eugene, Oregon.
