Bailey Hoover

Bailey Hoover is a photographer, director, visual artist and musician originally from Sacramento, CA who currently resides in Eugene, OR. They are very passionate about the communal and collaborative aspect of creating and strives to make art that examines the depths of our individual, uncompromising uniqueness, along with the shared experiences that connect us. Bailey's work has an emphasis on emotional intensity, the subject's relationship with their environment, and sharp contrast in light and shadow. They draw heavy influence from avant-garde cinema, feminist theory, and the interwoven relationships between the two; they challenge themselves throughout their work to incorporate these elements into what they create.
