ELIJAH MCFARLANE

Elijah McFarlane is an artist from Denver, CO who currently lives and works in Eugene, OR. His work focuses on the documentation of current events and the monotony and spontaneity of daily life and experiences. He is interested in exploring the overlooked beauty in everyday things. and frequently uses the juxtaposition of extreme closeups in contrast with extreme long shots to show how everyday things interact with each other and to illustrate how little pieces combine to create beautiful scenes. He is a self-taught photographer who has worked with the medium since 2018 and has been a member of the Eugene Darkroom Group since 2020.
