BRENNA HANSEN

Brenna Hansen is a visual artist from Southern California who lives and works abroad.  Her work is focused on perception, belief, and the way information and experience is organized in contemporary society. She often uses a combination of experimental digital and analog processes to examine the spaces between perception and reality. She has studied Studio Art, Art Photography, and holds an Interdisciplinary BA in Art History & Philosophy. She currently works as an instructor of darkroom and alt-process photography, book-making, and auto-publication both internationally as a freelance educator and locally as an instructor at Maude Kerns Art Center.  She is the Education Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator for  Eugene Darkroom Group.
